PICTURE! Noooo! Here at News by the People, we’re extremely disappointed in Emma Watson’s new haircut. I mean, we’re so disappointed that we’re actually taking the time to do a post about it. Watson, who is known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, recently cut her hair boy-short. The new style, which was first posted as a photo on her facebook profile, is extremely disappointing.

On the plus-side, Watson seems to love her new hairstyle. We’ve obtained the following quote from the Huffington Post: “Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago… Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x.”

The Huffington Post also notes that Watson told EW.com that the cut “felt amazing.” She also noted that she loves it. “The stylist just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out. It felt amazing. I love it.”

Currently, about 60% of voters over at the Huffington Post love the new hair style. I’m guessing that most of the positive voters are chicks, because to a dude, at least to me, it’s not appealing at all. Funny thing is, I was reading a book by Paul Janka, and he talked about how even the average looking girl looks amazing, because of their long hair. Well, goes to show that any good looking chick can go bad, without those long locks of hair. Ouch!

After spending 35 years as a TV host for the Hollywood Gossip show, “Entertainment Tonight,” Mary Hart is finally stepping down. The 59-year-old, (who hardly looks 50 at all), is known for her great legs, and her amazing ‘hosting skills’ on the legendary Hollywood Gossip TV show. Although Hart, who’s leaving after the coming season can never truly be replaced, Lara Spencer, host of “The Insider,” will be stepping in.

“Workout aside, Mary Hart leaves behind a legacy of style and professionalism that will not be soon matched, because all of the other female Hollywood gossip anchors have followed her formula of looks, legs, and diction. Mary Hart’s the only one who can make me actually watch anything about Kate Gosselin.”

Although Hart will definitely be missed, Spencer has her fair share of TV appearances. Spencer is the host of “The Insider,” and has made many appearances on the “Early Show,” as well as appearances on “Rachael Ray.” Here is a picture of Spencer, if you’re unfamiliar with the name:

One hot search that you can ignore today is “Justin Bieber Impregnated His Mother.” The search, which reached the number 2 spot on Google Trends, is simply another hot celebrity rumor, which was recently released.

If you’re unfamiliar with Google Trends, it’s a tool that allows people to see the top 40 Google Searches every hour. But sadly, Google Trends is notoriously known for sporting searches that spread major celebrity rumors, from celebrity deaths, to car crashes, and more.

Currently, no other major news source has covered this topic, but more than likely, the search began after a popular social networking service began spreading the rumors. With that being said, we do not know why people are searching for, “Justin Bieber Impregnated His Mother,” but we do know that the Trend is hot, and likely coming from a social networking service.

John Stamos has gotten himself into quite a pickle, as a Michigan couple has attempted to blackmail John into paying them $680,000. If John wasn’t to make the huge transaction, the couple was planning to release photos of Stamos, which supposedly showed him hanging out with two strippers, while using.

Scott Sippola, 30-years-old, and Allison Coss, 23-years-old, were first arrested by police back in December of 2009, for threatening to release the alleged photos of Stamos to the public. But John claims that there are no such pictures that exist. Rather, John notes that the pictures are simply him posing with fans. The couple plead not guilty to charges of felony extortion and misusing interstate commerce.

According to Coss, she first met Stamos back in 2004, when she was only 17-years-old. Coss claims that her and Stamos had a “fling,” after Stamos invited her and a friend back to his hotel room. Coss and her friend accepted the invite, but when they got to the room, two strippers arrived with drug paraphernalia, which John proceeded to use, said Coss.

Stamos’ lawyer recently noted that the allegations pointing at Stamos are “simply untrue,” and that the statements will “not be proven.”

“The allegations made today in the courtroom by the defendants’ attorneys during opening statements will not be proven because they are simply untrue.“

If you’ve been paying any attention to the World Series of Poker Event, you may have noticed a familiar face at the main event; Shanna Moakler, wife of Travis Barker, competed in the event, and sported gear from Ultimate Bet — UB.net.

The event took place at the Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this week. According to Starzlife.com, Moakler did not win the event, but she did bring something different to the game.

From Starzlife.com: “Decked out in her threads from Ultimate Bet, Shanna’s poker face definitely provided a distraction to those at her table.” The Starzlife article continued on by saying, “Though she did not win, she definitely brought the hotness to the tourney.” That she did, Starzlife, that she did.

In other Shanna Moakler news, the hot water drama with Miss California USA, Carrie Prejean continues.

TMZ reports, “Shanna Moakler refuses to let her beef with ‘biblically correct’ beauty queen Carrie Prejean die down — and TMZ has learned she’s gonna send the anti-same sex marriage poster child a wedding present … with a big, gay twist.”

Shanna Moakler is definitely a well-known celebrity, but she gained special attention today, after ranking in the top 10 searches on the hour, on Google Trends — a popular service that shows the hottest 40 searched keywords every hour. If you take a look at Moakler’s search graph, she’s been rising in searches since late last night. Around 6:00 AM, her numbers began to drop. Earlier this morning, News by the People reported on Lindsay Lohan’s Fingernail “Tattoo,” which said “F**k U.” Lohan sported the ‘tattoo’ during her recent 90-day sentencing, and now it’s becoming a huge controversy.

We reported earlier:

“New York City Public Defender Stacy Schneider reports that her more than inappropriate tattoo could land her more time in jail. ‘It would be a separate charge for contempt,’” said Schneider.

But according to Lohan’s recent Twitter post, the fingernail tatoo had nothing to do with the courts.

As if Lindsay Lohan wasn’t already in a load of trouble, new reports and pictures have been coming in showing just how Lohan feels about her 90-day jail sentencing. The tattoo, which is placed on Lilo’s middle fingernail states, “F**k U!” We can only imagine that Lohan would not have been as obvious about the tattoo had her sentencing been reduced or dropped. Sadly for Lohan, New York City Public Defender Stacy Schneider reports that her more than inappropriate tattoo could land her more time in jail. “It would be a separate charge for contempt,” said Schneider. “She could have an entire extra sentence heaped on top of her current one. If the judge were angry enough, it could run even consecutively.” Lohan’s trouble-making finger would only land her more time in jail, along with many more problems, only if it was known that the sign was directed towards the courts.

We reported to you yesterday that Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Although it was originally believed by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitemore that Lohan would only serve 25% or less of this sentencing, that number may increase with her recent vulgar — painted fingernail stunt.

24-year-old actress, Lindsay Lohan has been required by Judge Marsha Revel to turn herself into jail on July 20th, 2010, and serve a 90-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation. Although the extremely emotional Lohan attempted to prove her case to the judge, the final decision not only put Lohan in tears, but also, will put her behind bars.

According to the Examiner, Lohan missed several drug and alcohol treatment programs. Lohan insisted to the judge that she attended many alternative meetings, and that she thought these alternate meetings were “ok.” Lohan claimed to have missed her regularly scheduled treatments because of work-related reasons. During her sentencing, Lohan told Judge Marsha Revel, “I don’t want you to think I don’t respect you. I did my best.”

“Inferno” director, Matthew Wilder recently defended Lohan’s sentencing to MTV by stating, “I am 100% behind Lindsay and can say the same for everyone involved in the production of ‘Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story.”

Luckily for Lohan, she will likely serve only a minimum of her 90-day sentence. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitemore, women who are sent to jail for nonviolent related crimes may only serve up to 25% of their original sentencing; Sometimes less, because of jail-overcrowding (Huffington Post).

With this final thought, the Huffington Post noted that Paris Hilton only served 4 days in jail, after she was originally sentenced to 45 days. Because of this reason, we’re almost certain that Lohan will get out much sooner than Day 90.

According to dnaindia, the New York Post said “Gerard was spotted chatting up Goga at a party in Cannes and they exchanged numbers.”

As you all know, Gerard Butler is usually known for being with Jennifer Anniston. (See picture below)

Now, he’s becoming known for going after Goga Ashkenazi, who, by the way, is a billionaire. A huge article about Ashkenazi, along with many pictures, can be seen over at Daily Mail: Best friends with Prince Andrew and mistress of a £28m London mansion – Goga Ashkenazi hasn’t done badly for a ‘peasant girl’ from Kazakhstan.

Now that the anticipation has been built, I can now tell you that Seinfeld reruns have racked in a whopping $2.7 billion dollars, since the show went off air 12 years ago.

You may now be saying to yourself “That’s totally awesome!” But you may also be asking yourself “Where is all of that money going?”

According to the Big Perez Hilton, Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David have a disclosed ownership. Basically, we know they’re making big money, we just don’t know how much. Forbes magazine estimates that Jerry Seinfeld has been making between $65 – $80 million dollars from show reruns, but this is strictly an estimate (Economic Times).

Sadly, other cast members are not included in the deal.

If you’re curious, Seinfeld is the top grossing show in TV history. If you’re like me, you were probably asking yourself “What can beat $2.7 billion dollars?”
